Railway Master Plan

The Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board (GIDB), in collaboration with G-RIDE (a joint venture between the Ministry of Railways and the Government of Gujarat), has created India's first Statewide Railway Master Plan for Gujarat. This Railway Master Plan serves as a crucial instrument for the development, planning, and oversight of Gujarat's railway network. It identifies key trade centers and identifies railway connectivity projects to enhance efficient freight and passenger transport, as well as to extend railway services to underserved regions within the State.
