  1. 1. Create an efficient and competitive logistics ecosystem to support Gujarat’s industrial growth through regulatory reforms and streamlined processes.
  2. 2. Promote and support private investment in developing integrated logistics facilities in the state.
  3. 3. Reduce logistics cost and enhance efficiency by enabling multi-modal transportation.
  4. 4. Ensure adequate supply of skilled manpower through continuous learning/ upskilling to meet the long term needs of the sector.
  5. 5. Decarbonize the sector through adoption of green energy and sustainable practices.
  6. 6. Promote use of technology and innovation for driving operational and cost efficiencies.
 
 
 
 

Salient features of the Gujarat Integrated Logistics & Logistics Parks Policy, 2021:

 
 
  1. The logistics policy covers a five-year period aimed at the unified development and efficient utilization of logistics facilities.
  2. Facilities include Logistics Parks, Multimodal Logistics Parks, Inland Container Depots, Container Freight Stations, Air Freight Stations, Air Cargo Complexes, Cold Chain Facilities, Warehouses, Truck Terminals, and Silos.
  3. Objectives include supporting e-commerce growth and enhancing first and last mile connectivity.
 
 
 

Incentives offered by Gujarat Integrated Logistics & Logistics Parks Policy, 2021

 
 
  1. Financial Support for New Projects/Units: This includes direct financial incentives mainly aimed at capital and interest subsidies, as well as tax-related benefits like stamp duty reimbursement and electricity duty exemption.
  2. Financial Support for New & Existing Projects/Units: Patent assistance is considered a financial incentive available to both new and existing projects.
  3. Non-Financial Support for New & Existing Projects/Units: This includes assistance that doesn't directly involve financial transactions but aids in improving the quality and capability of the projects, such as quality certifications, skill development, and technology assistance.
