Heritage Tourism Policy 2020-25

This policy focuses on converting and revamping heritage units into tourism attractions, like heritage hotels, heritage museums, heritage restaurants and heritage banquet halls, by offering a range of incentives. It includes capital investment subsidies to reduce infrastructure costs, interest subsidies to lower financing expenses, and electricity duty exemptions to reduce operational expenses. It also provides research assistance for heritage tourism development to recognized heritage tourism unit associations and/or bodies.
