Project Monitoring Group

The Project Monitoring Group (PMG) is an institutional mechanism for milestone based monitoring of projects and for expediting issue resolution and fast tracking of approvals/clearances for projects with an anticipated investment of more than Rs 500 Crore.
Following Stakeholders are involved in PMG:
- Project Proponent
- Sponsoring Ministry
- Recipient State/ Ministry
The State Nodal agency, which is GIDB in Gujarat, further coordinates with the concerned departments/district and shares a status update on monthly basis regarding status of the issues on the PMG portal.
More than 100 projects having cost of ~ 7.40 Lakh Crore are being monitored on the Portal.
