Economic Masterplan for Surat Economic Region

At its essence, the economic master plan for Surat Economic Region is driven by the ViksitGujarat@2047 vision, which emphasizes the dual goals of 'earning well' and 'living well’. This vision is in alignment with the ambitious target of achieving a $3.5-4 trillion economy. The plan is centered around nine pivotal growth drivers and is built upon four foundational pillars: (a) sustaining and growing manufacturing through strategic interventions; (b) promoting the service economy through business & trading; (c) developing new growth avenues; and (d) creating an enabling ecosystem of lifestyle and learning, making SER an aspirational city region.
